NBC and G4 are teaming up again this summer to bring audiences the competition series American Ninja Warrior. The series follows competitors as they face challenging obstacle courses in the qualifying rounds culminating with the finals in Las Vegas where they try their hand at the course modeled after Japan's Mount Midoriyama. If someone conquers Mount Midoriyama, they will with the title of "American Ninja Warrior" and the $500,000 grand prize. This has yet to happen, and has only happened for three contestants in the original Japanese series Sasuke, which is in production for its 28th season.
The series is hosted by Matt Iseman once again, along with former NFL player Akbar Gbaja Biamila, and coshosted with ESPN's Jenn Brown.
The three recently talked to the digital media about the new season, which will premiere June 30th on G4 and July 1st on NBC, with original episodes airing on each network Sundays and Mondays, respectively.

So the result of maintaining the lifestyle of a villain means you lose everything you hold dear. At the end of this season, Don has nothing. Who saw that one coming? It’s all his doing, too. His life had unraveled to the point where he desperately tried to correct any flaws that were eating away at him. Tried to quit drinking cold turkey. He volunteered to move to the opposite side of the country (as a lowdown way to steal another man’s idea) in order to start over. His entire world has now changed. It’s all because he broke down at a key moment in trying to land another big account.
