Philadelphia native Andrew Hwang, who graduated from Full Sail University's computer animation degree program, has worked on some of the biggest blockbusters to hit the screens recently, as well as best-selling video games. Hwang is currently lead modeler and asset supervisor at the visual effects studio The Third Floor Inc.

Some of the films Hwang has worked on include Alice in Wonderland, The Avengers, Battleship, Men in Black 3, and the upcoming remake Total Recall.

Hwang talked to the digital media about his work in visual effects as well as what it is like to work on multi-million dollar budget films.

Next month, TNT will be premiering its new series Perception. The show stars Eric McCormack as Dr. Daniel Pierce. Although a paranoid schizophrenic, Pierce works as a professor of neuroscience until he is recruited by the FBI to help solve cases using his unique perspective. Even though sometimes delusional, Pierce is able to see patterns and make connections that others miss. This brilliance of course is also his curse as he frequently hallucinates, but he considers some of his hallucinations a gift.

Many fans will know McCormack as Will Truman on Will & Grace or more recently from his work on The New Adventures of Old Christine. Beside his new series, Eric will also be starring in the film Barricade, due out this fall.

I recently got a chance to talk to McCormack about his work on Perception during a conference call with the digital media.

The comedic drama Drop Dead Diva centers around a wannabe model who died in an accident and woke up in the body of a plus-size attorney named Jane (Brook Elliott).

Recently the legendary Patty Duke guest starred on the series as Rita O'Riley, a floor-greeter at the store OneStop. She was fired after she tackled and stopped a shoplifter in the store. Things are not what they seem, however, when they realize that Rita has taken on the personality of her deceased sister.

Patty Duke is an accomplished actress, known for her work in projects such as The Miracle Worker, The Patty Duke Show, and Valley of the Dolls. She will also appear in the upcoming film Amazing Love, alongside her son, Sean Astin.

I recently was lucky enough to take part in a conference call with Ms. Duke, and I was able to ask her quite a few questions.

Wilfred returns to FX tonight with a special preview episode of the series, "Progress." Wilfred, which was adapted for FX by David Zuckerman, centers around the character of Ryan, played by Elijah Wood. On the verge of attempted suicide, Ryan struggles to find happiness in his life, until he meets "Wilfred." Everyone sees Wilfred (Jason Gann) as a dog; however, Ryan sees him as a man in a dog suit. Wilfred is actually Ryan's alter-ego and way of coping to "break out of his shell."

Most fans will know Wood from his role of Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings trilogy or as Mumble in Happy Feet, but the actor has a long list of credits to his name. Wood will also be reprising the role of Frodo in the upcoming film The Hobbit.

I recently got a chance to talk to Wood in an interview with the media.

Say it isn't so! Executive producer Jeff Pinkner is leaving Fringe.

TV Guide reports that Pinker is leaving "in order to pursue other projects and that it was an amicable split." Co-showrunner J.H. Wyman will remain to run the show solo.

TV Guide also has a statement from series co-creator/exec producer J.J. Abrams:

"We're so excited to begin work on a fifth season of Fringe and to be able to deliver the 13 final episodes to our passionate and devoted fans. For four years, J.H. Wyman and Jeff Pinkner have worked tirelessly as a team to keep all the worlds in order on Fringe. We're thankful for the invaluable contributions Jeff has made to the show and of course wish him well and look forward to working together in the future. J.H. Wyman's importance to Fringe cannot be overstated, however, and I'm thrilled that he will continue as showrunner for the concluding chapters of our story. We can't wait for our fans to see what we have in store for them in the wild conclusion of Fringe."

Fringe returns to FOX for its fifthe and final season on Friday, Sept. 28 at 9/8c.
