The session included an exclusive first look at this riveting television adaptation based on the critically acclaimed film of the same name. Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a 1001 car, perpetually moving train that circles the globe. The series will premiere in Spring 2020 on TBS.

Season Three of The Orville To Stream Exclusively On Hulu in 2020 
 
(San Diego, CA) July 20, 2019 – Emmy Award-winning actor, animator, filmmaker, musical artist and comedian Seth MacFarlane announced today at San Diego Comic-Con that the Emmy-nominated fan-favorite, sci-fi series The Orville will move to Hulu exclusively for its upcoming third season. The Seth MacFarlane-created series will hit the streaming service as a Hulu Original in late 2020.
 
“The Orville has been a labor of love for me, and there are two companies which have supported that vision in a big way: 20th Century Fox Television, where I’ve had a deal since the start of my career, and FOX Broadcasting Company, now FOX Entertainment, which has been my broadcast home for over 20 years. My friends at the network understood what I was trying to do with this series, and they’ve done a spectacular job of marketing, launching and programming it for these past two seasons. But as the show has evolved and become more ambitious production-wise, I determined that I would not be able to deliver episodes until 2020, which would be challenging for the network. So we began to discuss how best to support the third season in a way that worked for the show. It’s exactly this kind of willingness to accommodate a show’s creative needs that’s made me want to stick around for so long. I am hugely indebted to Charlie Collier and FOX Entertainment for their generosity and look forward to developing future projects there. And to my new friends at Hulu, I look forward to our new partnership exploring the galaxy together,” said Seth MacFarlane. 

Cast and Producers Announce Return of Popular Series During Debut Panel at San Diego Comic Con

SAN DIEGO, CA July 20, 2019 – Ahead of its season one finale, AMC today announced that it has renewed supernatural horror series “NOS4A2” for a 10-episode second season. The series, which is based on the best-selling 2013 Joe Hill novel of the same name, made its Comic-Con debut today in San Diego where cast members Zachary Quinto and Ashley Cummings, showrunner and executive producer Jami O’Brien and executive producer Joe Hill shared the news of the renewal during the show’s panel. For the current television season, “NOS4A2” ranks as a Top 20 cable drama and the #2 new basic cable drama among adults 25-54 and 18-49 in Nielsen Live +3 viewing. The second season of “NOS4A2” will go into production this fall and will air on AMC in 2020.

“NOS4A2” centers on Vic McQueen (Cummings), a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things. This ability puts her on a collision course with Charlie Manx (Quinto), a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – an icy, twisted Christmas village of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Vic strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims – without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself. The series also stars Jahkara Smith, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Virginia Kull and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

CBS announced today the premiere dates for its 2019-2020 fall season that begins Monday, Sept. 23. CBS’ official premiere week will feature the strategic launch of five new shows on two nights (Monday and Thursday), and 15 returning series. Three returning series will launch the following week.

Original First Three Seasons of "Veronica Mars" Premiere July 1st On Hulu
 
Today at ATX Festival, Hulu announced that "Veronica Mars" fans will be able to re-live the first three seasons of the cult favorite on July 1st ahead of the Hulu Original returning for its fourth season on July 26th.

• Michael Schur, creator and executive producer of NBC and Universal Television’s “The Good Place,” made the following announcement Friday night at the Television Academy in North Hollywood during a panel discussion dedicated to the critically acclaimed comedy series.

• NBC’s “The Good Place” will conclude following its upcoming 2019-20 fourth season that begins in the fall.

• “After ‘The Good Place’ was picked up for season two, the writing staff and I began to map out, as best we could, the trajectory of the show. Given the ideas we wanted to explore, and the pace at which we wanted to present those ideas, I began to feel like four seasons – just over 50 episodes – was the right lifespan. At times over the past few years we’ve been tempted to go beyond four seasons, but mostly because making this show is a rare, creatively fulfilling joy, and at the end of the day, we don’t want to tread water just because the water is so warm and pleasant. As such, the upcoming fourth season will be our last.
  
  “I will be forever grateful to NBC and Universal TV for letting us make ‘The Good Place,’ and for letting us end it on our own schedule. I will also be forever grateful to the creative team, both on-screen and off, for their hard work and dedication to a very weird idea. AMC’s new drama series NOS4A2 arrived as a top 10 cable drama premiere for the current television season and the #2 new cable drama premiere with 1.9 million total viewers and 887k adults 25-54.
