April 17, 2019 (Burbank, CA) – Continuing its push for more year round programming, The CW’s Summer 2019 schedule is taking shape, as the network sets initial premiere dates, launching 11 original series throughout the summer, more than ever before, including six all new scripted and unscripted series as well as several returning favorites.

AMC released today a series of new action-packed images from the highly-anticipated fifth season of “Fear the Walking Dead,” premiering Sunday, June 2 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

In “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 5, the group’s mission is clear: locate survivors and help make what’s left of the world a slightly better place. With dogged determination, Morgan Jones (Lennie James) leads the group with a philosophy rooted in benevolence, community and hope. Each character believes that helping others will allow them to make up for the wrongs of their pasts. But trust won't be easily earned. Their mission of helping others will be put to the ultimate test when our group finds themselves in unchartered territory, one which will force them to face not just their pasts but also their fears. It is only through facing those fears that the group will discover an entirely new way to live, one that will leave them forever changed.

Today, Netflix unveils the premiere date and key art of the revived fan-favorite series, LUCIFER, with a teaser showing the devil living his best life in Los Angeles (which looks not totally unlike a Dior ad).

On May 8, 2019, all hell breaks loose (again!) when Netflix premieres Season 4 of Lucifer, the cult-favorite, fantasy comedy-drama about fallen angel and ex-Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar, a Los Angeles nightclub owner who expertly deploys his devil-may-care attitude while moonlighting as an LAPD consultant.

Reeling from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face, Lucifer faces a new challenge: Eve, the original sinner herself, is back. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago… or something else entirely?

SHUDDER ACQUIRES INTERNATIONAL HIT ZOMBIE COMEDY ​ONE CUT OF THE DEAD

APRIL 8, 2019 — The little, $27,000 indie zombie comedy that became a box office smash in Japan and around the world is finally coming to North America when One Cut of the Dead debuts on Shudder later this year. AMC Networks’ streaming service for horror, thrillers and the supernatural picked up all rights in the U.S. and Canada to the international hit, which currently holds a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has grossed a staggering $28 million in Japan and $30 million worldwide. Shudder also acquired all rights in Australia and New Zealand, where the service is set to launch later this year.

Shinichiro Ueda’s One Cut of the Dead starts with a film crew shooting a zombie movie who stumble into an actual zombie outbreak—all shot in a single, 37-minute take. From there, the story widens its focus, transforming into a comedic love letter to the spirit of indie filmmaking that conjures up unstoppable ingenuity in the face of overwhelming odds. One Cut of the Dead’s wild, crowd-pleasing final 30 minutes reframes everything you thought you saw in an outrageous new light. New York – April 8, 2019 – AMC today announced that it has greenlit the third series in the expanding universe of The Walking Dead, an original drama co-created by Scott M. Gimple, chief content officer of The Walking Dead universe, and Matt Negrete, who has been a writer and producer on The Walking Dead for the past five seasons and will be showrunner of the new series. Produced and distributed by AMC Studios, the series will begin production on 10 episodes this summer in Virginia and premiere on AMC in 2020.

BBC AMERICA RENEWS KILLING EVE FOR THIRD SEASON

ACCLAIMED DRAMA AIRS SUNDAYS ON BBC AMERICA AND AMC

New York – April 8, 2019 – BBC AMERICA has renewed the critically-acclaimed series Killing Eve for a third season. Starring Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw, the award-winning original series is produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd. for BBC AMERICA.

Killing Eve revolves around Eve (Oh), an MI6 operative, and psychopath assassin Villanelle (Comer) in this story of two women, bound by a mutual obsession and one brutal act. The show’s second season premiered last night on BBC AMERICA and was simulcast on AMC.

Today, Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural, announced initial casting for its upcoming horror anthology series, Creepshow, based on the iconic 1982 film written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero. Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), and Tobin Bell (Saw) will star in the Stephen King story “Gray Matter,” adapted by Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi (The Commuter) and directed by series showrunner Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead).
