"The Voice:" Battle Rounds Begin!

By Karen Moul

The VoiceOne thing fans and critics love about The Voice is the speed with which the show eliminates contestants, and the battle rounds are where the action happens. This week twelve people sang and six went home.

Some of the contestants struggled with nerves, a few had pitch problems, but everyone laid it on the line and a few even blew us away. The epic battle of the night was Jesse vs. Anthony, these guys are both incredible singers. It was a shame they had to face off so early, it would have been great to see them both in the finals. But this marvelous performance established Jesse as a front runner and at this point in the competition he’s the man to beat.

After the show, the contestants talked with SciFi Vision and other media outlets about working with their guest mentors and learning to sing a duet.

The Voice
airs Mondays at 8 pm on NBC.
